Privacy Policy

🗑️ The short version: PicSpin is designed to collect as little as possible. Photos are ephemeral — they are automatically deleted after being viewed. We don't have accounts, emails, or passwords.

1. What We Collect

PicSpin collects only what is necessary to operate:

Device fingerprint — a one-way hash of your device's hardware identifiers, used solely to enforce bans. It cannot be used to identify you personally and is never shared.
Push notification token — if you allow notifications, a token is stored to deliver them. You can revoke this at any time in your device's notification settings.
Photos you post — stored temporarily in encrypted cloud storage and deleted automatically after a story expires or is fully viewed.
Reports — if you report content, we retain a record of the report to investigate it.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or browsing history.

2. What We Don't Do With It

We do not share your data with third parties except as described below
We do not build profiles or track you across apps

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

PicSpin shows ads served by Google AdMob. Google may use your device's advertising identifier and other signals to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings:

iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising
Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads

Google's privacy policy applies to ads served through AdMob: policies.google.com/privacy

4. Data Deletion

Because PicSpin has no accounts, most data is automatically deleted when a story expires. If you want your device fingerprint removed (for example, to appeal a ban), contact us at legal@picspin.app.

5. Children's Privacy

PicSpin is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Law Enforcement

We cooperate with valid legal requests. We report child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to NCMEC as required by US federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We'll update the date at the top when we do. Continued use of PicSpin means you accept the updated policy.
